As someone who loves art and learning, it’s important to me to continue creating and working on new skills.
Below are projects and designs that I created for clients including social media graphics, logos, flyers, banner and more. I have also included some of my own personal art work, photography, animations, and personal projects, as continuing to create is an important part of my design process.
I’m so happy to share some of my art with you!
If you took any photograph of any scene and mixed all the colors together, you would get a value of 18% grey. With this knowledge photographers will often test their lighting with “gray cards.”
I spent 30 days “journaling my emotions” by painting lonely or sad moments with white acrylic and full or happy moments with black acrylic. By the end I was able to remind myself that if I mixed all the days together, even the really hard ones, I would still come out with a lovely 18% gray.
To the right you will see two of the 30 paintings.
*Note the painting on the right has a red dot – it is the only color other than black and white used in the entire series. That was how angry I was in that moment.
I created a book of a series of photography self portraits exploring different emotions in an empty house – several of the pages lay below – please note that there is an unfortunate glare coming from the pictures of the book pages that is effecting some of the tones and lighting.

I love working with messy materials like charcoal. I like the idea of trying to work with something that doesn’t want to be controlled. I also really love working in negative spaces which you often do with charcoal.
I think it is very likely that embroidery is often thought of as a craft rather than an art. But if you have looking down over farm lands while flying, you can understand where one may be reminded of patch worked quilts or embroidery, and that is exactly what I attempted to create here.
