Hi! Hello! Here is a little about me:

While you will find mostly User Experience and Web Design on my resume, I’m a lot more, and I’ve done a lot more!

I’m a Photographer!

I have 18 years experience in photography, including working at the marketing and communications department at both universities I attended, where I worked on marketing material, photo editing and manipulation, b-roll, and anything else they could throw at me.

I also worked in the film photo lab where I mixed chemicals and assisted other students in their film processing and printing. When there weren’t other students in the lab I spent my time manipulating the projectors to print from photos I took on my phone, and playing with different reactions from the printing process. During this time I experimented a lot with light and began poking holes through images to created night and day scenes from a single image. I have since moved this process to post cards and posters.

I love creating secret scenes that are revealed with light!

I’ve shot weddings, senior photos, dramatic art shots, architecture, close up nature shots, and everything in between.

I’ve had work in airports, galleries, art shows, and in my very supportive family’s homes.

I’m a Writer!

Ever since I was a kid I’ve always been writing stories. I’ve always wanted to share stories with those around me. My undergrad thesis was a full feature script which I poured into. I also have several working novels and a few kids books I’m working on. I hope to never stop writing

I’m an artist!

I love to play with any art medium I can! I can knit, crochet, sew, paint, sketch, animate. I’ve done printmaking, glass blowing, sculpting, junk journaling, large abstract pieces, punch needling, and really anything you can think of! I love creating and will never stop as long as my body allows me to continue.

I’m an Athlete!

I have spent the past 17 years playing competitive volleyball, including playing Junior Olympic, and collegiately. In 2019 I took that knowledge and began to coach! I have coach girls ages 8-17 and have loved every second of it!

This type of competition has made me a go-getter. When different teams have needed help on a project I have been able to say “put me in coach” to my bosses and gotten whatever needed done.

I’ve had 29 addresses and lived in 10 different states!

As a military brat, I’ve spent a bit of time everywhere. Its been a great opportunity to see different landscapes, weather, cultural and social norms, and overall just experience more than just one backyard.
